# ComfyUI Developer Platform > platform.comfy.org is the developer platform for ComfyUI. Sign in to create > API keys, read your usage and run history, package a local ComfyUI install > into a build, and run that build as a serverless deployment. This site is an interactive application, and almost every page is behind a login. Fetching it is not useful. Every path returns the same JavaScript shell, so a crawl of this host returns the same bytes for every URL. The sections below say what each part of the platform is for, and point at the documentation and tools that an agent can use. ## API keys An API key is the credential for the Comfy API, the CLI and the MCP server. A person creates it in the browser: sign in at platform.comfy.org, open /profile/api-keys, name the key and generate it. The key is shown once, so store it immediately. The same page lists and deletes existing keys. - [Getting an API key](https://docs.comfy.org/development/api-development/getting-an-api-key.md): what a key unlocks, how to create one, and how to keep it safe. ## Usage and activity The dashboard has two views of account activity: run history, and billing with credit usage. Both are part of the signed-in application, so read them in a browser. There is no page here to fetch them from. ## Builds and deployments A build is a pinned set of models, custom node packs and a ComfyUI version. You deploy a build to get an auto-scaling serverless deployment. Each build keeps releases, and cutting a release freezes its contents. `comfy-cli` carries these procedures as agent skills. Install it with `pip install -U comfy-cli`, then read the skill for the work at hand: - `comfy skills show comfy-build` packages a local ComfyUI install into a build and cuts a release. - `comfy skills show comfy-deploy` runs a release as a serverless deployment. - `comfy skills list` names every skill, including the reference skills those two cite for build failures and dependency pinning. Builds have no documentation page yet, so those skills are the reference. A signed-in user opens Deploy in the sidebar and can create builds, cut releases and deploy them directly; there is no access to request first. - [comfy-cli getting started](https://docs.comfy.org/comfy-cli/getting-started.md): how to install `comfy-cli` and point it at a local ComfyUI or at Comfy Cloud. ## Documentation Every link here ends in `.md`, which is the markdown twin the documentation site serves for each page. Drop the suffix for the HTML page a person reads. - [ComfyUI documentation index](https://docs.comfy.org/llms.txt): the full page index for the documentation site. Read this rather than crawling this host. - [ComfyUI documentation](https://docs.comfy.org): the site to read for ComfyUI, the Comfy API and this platform. ## Agent tools and SDKs - [Comfy MCP server](https://docs.comfy.org/agent-tools/mcp.md): connect an agent to ComfyUI over the Model Context Protocol, on Comfy Cloud or on a local install. - [SDKs](https://docs.comfy.org/development/api-development/sdks.md): the client libraries for the Comfy API, and how to authenticate with an API key issued by this platform.
